PULLMAN, WA - July 5th 2007 - According to Newsweek the average worker wastes nearly an hour each day just looking for stuff. So if you are going to waste time, you should at least win some prizes in the process. Today WBP SYSTEMS' announced the "Can't Find my Stuff" contest. Submit a picture of your office or desk in all of its glory and you'll be entered to win one of three annual subscriptions (20 users or less) to Heap CRM for you or your company (an over $1200 value).

A customer relationship management system (or CRM) helps business keep track of their customer and prospect information in a structured way. "Everyone has a CRM, they may not call it that, it may not be serving them, but they have one." says Ben Smith, Chief Software Architect at WBP SYSTEMS. "It might be the ever-popular rolodex or sticky-note system, but every business maintains a relationship with their customers. We just think their is a better way to keep track of that data, which in the end will serve you and your customers better."

Winners will be chosen by WBP SYSTEMS on September 5th. Each entry will be given a 1-5 score in each of three categories:

General organization

Inbox / outbox system

Filing system

Each winner will be profiled along with a picture of the offending office. For contest entry please go to http://heap.wbpsystems.com/cantfindmystuff/.

WBP SYSTEMS released Heap CRM in December of 2006 to serve the needs of small businesses. Heap was the first CRM with "e-mail round-trip" searching, "sounds like" searching, and a customized iPhone interface.
The First CRM on the iPhone

PULLMAN, WA - June 24th 2007 - On the 29th many people will be waiting in line to buy the most anticipated consumer device of the year. And while most will be excited about the widescreen iPod or Google Maps, that's not why Heap users will be in line. WBP SYSTMS just released a special interface for the iPhone into the production version of Heap.

Heap CRM is the first CRM (customer relationship management) designed to work on the iPhone by quite some margin. The first version available to the public was placed into beta on the 13th of June. But that doesn't mean it was done in a rush. "Heap doesn't just work, but it thrives on the iPhone. Here's how it works: Heap auto detects an iPhone and automatically scales features to fit, turns phone numbers into links to activate the phone, and increases the size of commonly used buttons to make it easier to use with a finger." says Ben Smith, Chief Software Architect at WBP SYSTEMS.

WBP SYSTEMS released Heap CRM in December of 2006 to serve the needs of small businesses. It works on all operating systems and all modern browsers. For more information about Heap CRM, go to http://www.heaphq.com.
Search from Anywhere, with "E-Mail Roundtrip" Searching

PULLMAN, WA - June 9th 2007 - Ever need to know something when your on the road. With the exception of the upcoming iPhone, most cellular phones can do little more then send email. But with Heap CRM (customer relationship management), sending email is all you need.

"Just put your search phrase in the subject line and in a few moments you'll get your search results back" says Ben Smith, Chief Software Architect at WBP SYSTEMS. "Using this method you can retrieve messages, calendar events, contacts, leads, opportunities, customers and archives."

Heap is the only CRM with this ability. Most CRMs rely on the built in browser included on blackberries and trios; while that may work for the enterprise, it fails to address the vast majority of phones on the market.
Search Based on Sound, not How it's Spelled

PULLMAN, WA - June 7th 2007 - Have you ever had trouble finding someone in your address book? It can be tough, if you misspell their name it probably can't be found with search. WBP SYSTEMS has fixed this problem in its CRM (customer relation management), Heap. While you can still search just like in any other application, there is now an option to search by sound.

"We think this will really help people do conflict of interest searches", says Ben Smith, Chief Software Architect at WBP SYSTEMS. What Smith is referring to is a common task attorneys and other professionals have to preform. "When you trying to find a conflict, you're never sure how someone else may have entered someone's name. It's a great comfort to know your finding everyone that even sounds like what you typed."

Heap is the only CRM with this ability. This is not really surprising, Heap is commonly used in ways that WBP SYSTEMS never expected. "Some creative attorneys have begun using it for case management" says Smith. "We really didn't expect this, but then again we never expected it to be used for project management either."
